- AWESOME Lovely Design and BABY Loves it!
We bought this for our 6 month old, as he is pulling up and crawling already. It is extremely strong! it is made of the strongest type of plastic and will not tople over like other cheap gates. This one is perfect. We bought 3 sets to put together on EBAY. I recommend buying only 2 if you have just 1 baby. I was very ambivalent about purchasing one of these, but I am SO glad I did! I actually bought two of them and use them together, or take out a few sides and use that to block a doorway. My ten month old loves it so far and has already gotten a LOT of use of the gate. I left it open initially so she wouldn't feel like she had to be in there and she would crawl in, shut the gate and play. Now she has discovered how much fun the gate can be! Tried the Summer Infant and it was terrible. My 5 month old son could push it around. This pen is much sturdier. My son likes the colors and built in toys.

It's true, this is small on its own. However, we didn't want the entire living room taken up by a monster play pen, so we didn't buy any extensions. When our son got too big to spend any significant amount of time in "baby jail", we just separated one of the sections and put it up in front of the large opening between the living room and the dining room/kitchen. I bought this for my grandson's 1st birthday on October 5,2008. The first two weeks he LOVED it! The busy little items on there had his attention and he even cried when we took him out! By the 3rd week, he started getting bored with it and realized that when he pushed it hard enough (and all around), it came apart and he could 'escape'.
