I think it works just OKAY. You have to clip it on to your jacket...and it dented my jacket. It doesn't store all that well. But it is what it is. I think any book light could work, not specifically designed for Kindle.

This is a great book light for the Kindle. It is very adjustable and clips right onto the Kindle's cover so there is no glare on the screen.

I ordered (2)of the "Mighty Brights", one in anticipation of the arrival of my Kindle and one to give to my wife for Christmas. My Kindle arrived yesterday and I immediately tried it out with the Mighty Bright Xtraflex 2 attached and found that it does perfectly what it was designed to do....light the reading surface of the Kindle. The light is great with 2 different settings, but, as I purchased for exclusive use with my Kindle, I was disappointed. It is just too heavy to be comfortable and it can't be attached to the Kindle without the book cover, which makes reading a bit more uncomfortable. However, as a light for other tasks, it is great.
